A particularly effective part of the project was the software test simulation which Peak42 developed.

This has proved invaluable and led to no programming changes being required to date. This allowed extensive testing of the programming before installation which permitted the system to be de-bugged and the operators were able to use the simulation to gain an appreciation of the new system.
